Transulcent setting powder for bodypaint
My most recent cosplay means that I need to turn one of my arms either red or black depending on which version I am doing
I have been using PAX body paint and talc to set it with The problem being that the talc is white and is paleing the colour badly meaning I end up ith a grey arm for example I have been trying to find a cheap translucent setting powder to use instead but I am not sure what I should be looking for and google is just giving me expensieve makeup powders which I dont want The only one I have found is ben nye neutral set translucent powder but I was wondering if there are any others out there?

Ben Nye and Graftobian Loose powders works well
I'm personally using Graftobian, but loose powder might change the tone of your makeup depending of the color, even if it's makeup setting powder, but don't worry about that, that's not very noticable, that's normal ^m^

Mehron's Colorset is fairly cheap price wise. My staff uses Mehron's Setting Powder in their FX kits.
We do not use baby powder as it is simply talc, it does not absorb and dulls color. Translucent powder is more rice powder which absorbs into the color. Some of the Translucent powders have additives which help the makeup stay in place. Mehron's Setting Powder has a antiperspirant in it which helps for a long day of play.
