Russia wig styling? Desperate need of tips.

I'm trying to put together a Russia, from Hetalia cosplay. And my wig, in my personal opinion lays a bit too flat?
Are there any products I could use to poof it out a bit-Like paste or hairspray?

Also, this is how it looks on me: http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u...n/IMAG0374.jpg
And here's a reference photo: http://www.zerochan.net/1199894
Any other tips on how to make it look more accurate (Hopefully cheap methods)

Got2Be hairspray and hair glue are your friends. While I don't know exactly what you want it to look like (for future reference you should add in links to pictures of the character whenever you are asking for advice on their hair or outfit), the hairspray alone should do the job of fluffing it out. Glue is more if you want spikes and sharp points.

Thank you! I knew I was forgetting something, ahah.
How's the hairspray for repeated use? Does it leave a strange texture and is it easy to wash out?

It doesn't leave a stranger texture than when using it on normal hair and I had no trouble washing out both the glue and the hairspray. (My wig was actually softer after I washed it using this tutorial). I just swished it around in a bucket of the soap rather than using spray however. This lets you reach in and rub out the product.
