Anyone Commissioning?

I really need some help here. The person I used to rely on making my cosplays charges a lot AND she lives in Brampton. So I have the costs of traveling, buying my own fabric for HER to make and paying her $80-100 on top of buying my own fabric. :/ I'm trying to find someone who lives in Toronto and can commission cosplays for me? Please PM me if you are.

I was looking into Jade from Mortal Kombat and Fran from FF12.

Thank you!!!!

not sure who Jade is, but I know for Fran from FFXII, you'd be looking at $200+ in materials and I don't blame someone for charging $100 on top of that... I am just starting out and I charge cost of materials + 30% + $30 for my larger commissions... That would be $90 IF it was only $200 in materials and you're probably looking at even more then that... I dont blame you for trying to find someone closer, but that's not really a lot for those types of costumes...

Keep in mind a good seamstress should be charging no less then $15 an hour minimum. I don't know the quality of your seamstress but $80-100 for labor does not sound unreasonable for those costumes.

Try asking in the Seeking Commissions Thread as this is not really the place for this
