Sacrificing Accuracy - Yoko (TTGL)

Okay, so I've really been debating cosplaying Yoko from Gurren Lagann (her original outfit). The only thing holding me back is her bikini top. I'm between a 36C and a 34D, which means my chest is a little larger than most Yoko cosplayers' I've seen. I've tried on string bikinis like hers before, but they just don't give me enough support to be comfortable or make my chest look...youthful (if you know what I mean). Would it be frowned upon if I simply opted for a normal bra top?

no! its not. as long as you can "fake" the allusion or make the flames ur fine. Ive seen some great cosplayers just buy nude bras that are their skin tone then make the bathing suit on top with just black fabric.

Do what makes you comfortable! I think that would look fine! Maybe even a bikini that has more support (Larger straps rather than strings) (:
