Where would there be info on DTAC?

I would like to go but I can't find information about it D:

Fingers crossed that we're back in the North Building this year and that they don't cram us in a tiny box again. After the security idiocy last year, I'm gonna make sure to record any evidence of mistreatment of attendees by security/con staff.

I'm hoping its back in the north, where MTAC used to be would suit better then where it usually was if numbers are an issue, as long as they let us use the whole isle way and not slowly lock it down LIKE MTAC was last year (2011)... I don't mind being in the south, but they need to use the entirety of the floor we're on... not box us in... and if the Motorcycle show is going to be an issue, put us in the north...

I want to teach a plushie workshop (like a did for Mtac, and FanExpo). My idea is to make Miku's Leek and dress up as her in a bear snuggy..see below!

Is that something people would like? I'll take any suggestions on what people want to learn.

I'm willing to give this con another chance, just cause there's a huge convention gap during the fall/winter, but I'll be leaving right away if the same cramming and security BS happens.
Just hoping Hobbystar will be a bit better with planning and this year will be better. "orz

I think Hobby stars needs to put more events, even if they are just fan-run panels in the program...last year seemed very light on stuff to do.

I don't remember them ever having an "official" site. Usually it's just listed under the "Upcoming Events" on Hobbystar's website in October or November. With that, the site doesn't even say much about the con; it's just a page with the date, time, building, guest and contact info for vendors.

It's also called Toronto Anime Con Now as we don't have a MTAC anymore. And yes most of these con's are long listed on the Hobbystar's website. lol

If I go (big IF as I don't get a free pass this year and was not impressed with the location switch) I'd be tempted to bring Jack or Yukio.

No more MTAC? But then why is a date for the next MTAC given at Hobbystar's site?

Because it's now the Toronto ComiCon with a anime section. They still list it but it doesn't exist anymore as a separate event, they just want the anime crowned to get to it in it's place like FanExpo.
The site still hasn't been updated.

I was thinking of finish Watashi for this... If I can a whole wake of things have cropped up in my family for next month.
