Hi. *awkward wave*

I'm not very good with introductions, so bear with me. :P

My name is Carrie, and I'm relatively new to cosplaying. I went to my first anime convention in August of 2011, and ever since then I've been dying to start cosplaying.

I have done it once since then. I dressed as Toon Link for the Zelda Symphony Orchestra. But since I can't sew, my mom was the one that made the tunic. And because my family is composed of ADHD procrastinators, we didn't finish the tunic until the night before the concert...needless to say it didn't turn out as well as it could have (too wide and short >_<). But it was still fun, and I hope to (successfully) adjust the tunic someday so that I can wear it again.

Anyway...yeah. I joined so that I can get some advice and tips on future costumes. Hope to see you around!

Hey, I'm Fabulousity!!! You're gonna love it here. We might seem a bit crazy, but that comes with the territory. We're all really nice though, promise

That's awesome!! I did my first official cosplay at the Zelda Symphony this past summer (I was Princess Agitha) and I was working up till the last minute too. That's actually pretty common--most everyone here's been up finishing a costume the night before their event. Where did you see the concert? I went to the one in Houston. Nice meeting you

Welcome to cosplay.com!
I wish I'd known about the Zelda Symphony Orchestra earlier, apparently they were near where I live only a week ago x_x

I was at the Houston one too! Haha. It was great. I'd definitely see it again if possible.
