Exclamation Trimming help

So..mking a costume:

Lenalee 2nd uniform

Having trouble trying to figure how to add that trim (grayish lining), some people gave the suggestion of gluing it on but i don't think that'll come out right..any suggestions?

link doesn't show. most trims on garments are sewn, whether by hand or by machine, depending on the location and variety of trim.
Nothing is impossible, but some things are very expensive.

My Etsy shop: http://www.etsy.com/shop/penlowe I make non-fitted custom things to ship within the continental US. I only do fitted garments for those whom I can meet in person.

Since we can't see a pic I'm guessing its like a piping on the Ed of a jacket? Sew on bias tape!

For her second uniform, I would use the single fold bias tape for the wider lines or cut your own white fabric on the bias and sew it down. Then, for the larger white parts, I would use the same white fabric and cut it out with a seam allowance, and then fold under the seam allowance and stitch it down. For the white cross it will be simple. On parts with curves you will have to clip the piece to the edge of the seam allowance and then fold it under so that it curves correctly. Pressing down the seam allowance will help you keep it nice and smooth when sewing also.
