Habits
When sewing or wig-styling or dying or chainmailing or any of the countless of other verbs creating a cosplay entails, do you have any habits, good, bad, or indifferent?
For example, I usually sew to Lapfox stuff, The Queenstons and Renard especially. Gotta have my techno while I'm puttin' fabric together. On the less-good side, I always end up with a sore jaw afterward from tensing up while doing detailed stuff. Et vous?

While I was making my Jack Sparrow wig, I would always sit down and watch Merlin on Hulu or else I would not be able to get the dreadlocks done lol

I always have my iPod playing my music when I'm sewing for very long periods of time. If I'm embroidering I usually have the TV on, mostly on food network.

I like to have the TV on as background noise while I do anything. Also ALL the lights have to be on. I don't know why, but if the lights aren't all on, I can't focus.
Also if procrastination is a habit then yes.

I always backtack... A lot. This is good and bad. It's good when I sewed everything right. It's bad when I made a mistake and needed to seam rip. D:
I also must listen to Rarity's "Art of the Dress" just once as I work on it. Even if I'm not working on a dress. XD

Whenever I work on props, such as sewing a S.T.A.R.S. patch onto my Jill Valentine hat, or making Maria's head platter from Umineko, I like to watch "Deadly Women" I have no freaking clue why ^^"
