Needs ideas for 11 year old girl and 9 year old boy
Sorry, I'm a bit of a noob to forums... Anyway, SHE doesn't like wigs, and has black hair, but if she has to she will, and it can't be too hard because we are poor. She watches bleach, death note, soul eater, naruto, and others I can't think of right now, but she doesn't really care where the character is from, but it would be best if they were from that anime. She's a bit shy, but it's okay if the character isn't.
As for HIM, he will not wear wigs no matter what, (he's a bit picky) has brown hair bowl cut, and make sure it's not too hard... Thanks, and sorry if there weren't a lot of choices, and sorry if you found me rather bothering. |

For the boy, the best fit is for young kids, Conan Edogawa from Case Closed/Detective Conan. I know someone who was him when they were younger. There is also the new character, "Oliver" from Studio Ghibli/Level 5's new PS3 game, Ninokuni. Son Goku from Saiyuki could be pretty fun if you want to stretch it a bit more price-wise.
The girl has been given enough I suppose. Guess that's there to add more options for the boy. Also TC, how would you feel about crossplay for them? I am sure the boy would be against it, but how about the girl?

For the girl, how about Nanako Dojima from Persona 4? The only thing is that her hair is brown, not black. But the costume itself is comprised of very simple colours.
For the boy, I can't recall anything different from what others have mentioned. But I'm going to push on the two previous points about chibitalia or Sayoran. But the latter might be the more expensive one to pull off. Anyway, good luck with your cosplay! |

GHIBLI GHIBLI GHIBLI!!!!!! Anything from Ghibli would be absolutely adorable!!! And honestly, when the cosplayers are that young, I don't think hair color is a big deal. Everyone understands that they're little and can't handle wigs yet, and that doesn't make chibi cosplayers any less adorable!!!
