Santa (999) how do your pants work

But in all seriousness, I don't know where to begin with his pants or shoes. Any help would be appreciated. I'll add reference images later, I can't where I'm at right now.

If you didn't figure out by the title, the character is Santa from the video game 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors; usually abbreviated to 999. (I totally recommend this game, by the way.)

Please and thanks!

Here's a full reference of Santa, if you're interested! (Careful, it has some spoiler-y content on it). Perhaps that'll help?

Lots of pockets and eyelets, and a chain running through a belt loop-- it's a lot of detail work, but it's not awful!

They look pretty standard for goth/punk/Tripp pants. Start with a basic cargo pants pattern, and build off that. The only thing you'll need to add are the pockets. And for ease of assembly, have a think about sewing the pockets after you've done the outside seam, but not the inner seam.
