Sealing spray paint on craft foam/read more!

OK so I have a helmet I'm making for Catwoman that I've made of craft foam and spray painted. Now my chrome parts are all fucked up from too many coats of paint and my finger prints are everywhere. Basically, I'm looking for a sealant, either spray paint or a paintable sealant, that can fill in any weird ridges my prints may have made as well as giving it a nice gloss. I want it to look like shiny chrome! Any experience will help!

Yeah, I sealed the foam. It's the chrome paint that's giving me the problems with finger prints and denting. My purple that I used is totally fine. So most glosses won't keep my chrome shiny?

Chrome spray paint won't be sturdy enough for a prop or costume that's going to be handled,. A top coat (even high gloss) will be glossy but you'll lose the chrome effect.

Metallic silver will be sturdy and shiny and can take a top coat, but it's not going to have a mirrored chrome finish.
