So Im a senior in high school and for my senior project/upcoming convention I'm making cosplays for 2 of my friends. (plus myself of course but that's not important)
So i need some info for the research part of my project. I need to solve these problems 1. My friends live clear across the state so i cant fit them as I create the patterns 2. I have VERY LITTLE experience in making cosplays for other people. So how should I use the measurements I get to make their cosplays and have them actually fit??? ANY INFO HELPS THANK YOU |

Personally, I'd be inclined to ask them to make duct-tape mannequins of themselves, plus get a thorough list of measurements off them for drafting your patterns.
If you don't want to go full body, I'd suggest torso (to the upper bicep and upper thigh) mannies. |

Muslin prototypes mail quite easily. Have them take pictures in the rough-draft pieces and write on them while wearing them to allow you to tinker with the patterns.
