Sooo, I kinda got the wrong colored extension for my Sheik (Legend of Zelda) cosplay. I had already purchased the blonde wig from Arda Wigs before, but didn't realize that it was different until after I styled/braided the extension.

So as to save money, is there any safe way to dye the wigs the same color? If so, what dye should I obtain? For the specific color I want, I wanted a faded blonde (like the base wig). I wouldn't mind also dying them both to keep the consistency right. Pictures are below:

The best you can do is try to dye the base wig slightly yellower to match the extensions. You can't lighten wig fiber, unfortunately.

Ah I see. I knew it had to be dyed one way or the other but thanks for the suggestion, hehe.

Or you can tone down the yellow extensions (possibly with purple..? Not sure. Purple + yellow = brown). And then match the wig by putting more brown
Just be aware you may end up with it being kind of dark

Do you have a local beauty supply store? They usually have falls in a range of colors, including multiple blonde shades (even if it is an ethnic beauty store and none of the wigs are blonde). You might have to take your wig in with you to match the color, but I'm betting you'll find an ash blonde color in there.
