I need to make Jak's wig. As you can see it starts green at the roots then fades to yellow. Would it work to buy a yellow wig then dye the 'roots' green?

issue is on how green ull b able to get from yellow...... it might be better to get a white lacefront wig then dye part of it yellow and part green.

I'd imagine so. Try some blue if the green dye comes out too yellow due to the base color.

Will not lie this is more easily done with natural hair. (Rocked Jak hair for a good month and a half, would have upkept it but I needed to start job hunting and the people in my town are don't normally hire anyone with weird hair colors.)

Buying a white wig and dying parts of it yellow and green might be your best bet though.

It would be awesome to make real hair go like that but unfortunately my husband has a fro. It would probably look cool until he started sweating...then he would just get clown hair. :P

You might be able to get that shade over yellow if you hand colour it as it deposit the true saturation of sharpie/permanent marker that way.
