Cosplay with braces? - Page 2

Allow me to be the gloomcloud. I never had braces due to cost, and I'll likely have a jumble of teeth for the rest of my life. I think it'd look epic for a creature cosplay, but for regular people (and, you know, life) it looks like I have weird fangs when I smile.

So do your braces, follow everyone's suggestions, and have a brilliant set of chompers. It'll be worth it in the long run.

-shudders- Oh my, I got my braces in the 3rd grade and it absolutely sucked. Thankfully I only wore them for a year, but I hated them with a passion.

But anyway, go ahead! Cosplay with braces isn't a problem. If someone doesn't like it then they don't have to look. :3 Like CobaltTempest said you can always smile without opening your mouth.

I had braces up until a few months ago so the past 3 years I cosplayed with braces. No one ever made a fuss about them or even seemed to notice them. One person at Otakon last summer even complimented me for matching my braces with my cosplay but they said it took them a few minutes of talking to me to even notice I had them on.
