Prince Bubblegum makeup

Me and my friends are doing an Adventure Time cosplay, including Prince Bubblegum (me), Marshall Lee, and Princess Bubblegum.
I know how I'm getting the costume, but I need to know what makeup I should use as well as how I should use because the Prince is a really pale pink-ish color. I'm worried I'm going to get the color too dark or something.
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about what to do? What brands of makeup to use as well as what shade. I've heard that using a damp paintbrush (or, I guess a makeup brush would do just as well) is good for applying that much makeup to the body.
So- any recommendations that could help me?
Greatly appreciated~

So I've never done this but I've heard plenty of people say use tights for both your legs and arms, just sew fingers into them. (I'm sure there's a tutorial somewhere)
Then just use some ben nye cake make-up to do your face (I've used a small cake and it covered my arms and face/chest). Just try to find a color that matches your tights.
Welovecolors.com has multi colored tights. (:

I'd get some ben nye creme color liners (like these) in white and bright pink. Then you can mix the pink into the white little by little until you get the right shade.
If you use tights for your hands/legs then you can definitely make sure the body paint matches this way. c:

No help here, sorry, butttttt....

To be a character, it is best to know your own name.

Cosplay 1: Sailor Venus (Commissioner failed to make 4 month deadline)
Update: August 10th.... still nothing.

Reality: Recycled or no cosplay at all. Got to love commissioning! Thanks everyone!! Serious thanks to Dulcinea, who actually made the deadline for the accessories far in advance and of outstanding quality. Sucks they won't be used.

I know, I keep on switching it up with Princess Bubblegum. It's Prince Gumball, I know. -.-"
