I recently moved to Florida, but I go back to MA to visit my family all the time. I might be back soon for good. I want to go to AB this year, but cards would have to fall into place for that to happen. The Skype thing sounds like a nice thought, good luck with that.

I used to live near there. Now I'm on the other side of the border, but just barely.

Hey there, I live about 20 mins north of Boston. I've been going to AB since 2007 except for 2011. Looking forward to this year's AB.

I'm glad I found this thread.

Hi Hoshi and Fairlen.

Fairlen, you could look for cosplay groups and gatherings on the AB forums or AB subsection of the cosplay.com forums. I've never been part of a group, but it sounds like so much fun. I heard about Boston Comic Con last year but I didn't go. I just checked out the site. I like comics but haven't read much of them (besides manga). Did you go last year?

Tesh-chan, I did not go to comic-con last year. I only heard about it a couple days ago when one of my friends invited me to go with her. I ask because there is a costume contest and Yaya Han, a famous cosplayer and model, is running it.
