I was wondering how might I go about making the armor, I was thinking craft foam but I'm fairly new to cosplay and I'm unsure my skills with craft foam would yield the best results. What might I use to give the "armor" a shiny scale look? I've heard of using plasti-dip.....would that be an effective way to make this costume?

Anyway... I haven't done much armor-work personally, but from what I understand Worbla and Wonderflex are both good options. Perhaps doing some research and looking for armor-making tutorials online might be helpful.
