Question How to make a demon skull? [Diablo 3]

I'm making this version of the female demon hunter: http://browse.deviantart.com/art/Dem...lo-3-302418625
So far, the only thing I don't really know how to make is that skull on her head. (It's almost like a mini cow skull or something) Anyone know how to mold a skull like that? I have molded a human skull for her pauldron piece, I just don't know how to mold a demon/animal skull. (I'm making it out of Worbla, so I can make the skull out of any material and just use it as a mold.)

Also, how do you make a skull look....ahem.....evil looking? The pauldron skull that I mentioned before looks a little too...happy?....ehh, I dunno. (http://thedisturbedmuffin.deviantart...kull-372465613) It just doesn't look that sinister to me. How does one make a skull look evil and...well...demony?
Thank you in advance!

bring the brow bones sloping downwards a bit more, and add dirt and shadows in the creases when painting. :3

Sweet. Yeah, on the pauldron, make the eye sockets less round and the brow bones sloping a little bit more. Horror prop skulls tend to have more pronounced brow ridges, different shaped mouths and eyes, etc. than actual human skulls, for exactly that reason -- to make them look more sinister, because a human skull sort of... doesn't, in a weird way.

The helm plate doesn't look like a cow skull to me, it looks like a flat face plate rather than an actual part of a skull (even a made-up demon skull). It's flat and doesn't have any sort of projecting face, and doesn't look like it came off the front of a three-dimensional skull either. I would say just make it that way, like a plate that goes over the front of your head, and make the horns separately just to get them all in the right places.

Thanks for replying! I'm working on the other skull, but the "happy" skull now looks a lot more sinister! http://thedisturbedmuffin.deviantart...art2-372624849 (I also added his teeth, which also helped with the sinister-ness) I fixed the brow bones and exaggerated them whole lot. It looks kinda funny in the picture, but it looks a lot better IRL.....I SWEAR.
Thanks a lot though!

It actually looks pretty good (reminds me of a sinister Jack Skellington though, but thats a good thing!)

Love it! Please post more in-progress pics, I'm really loving how the worbla looks for this so far. My necromancer cosplay, if I ever get it started, may also have skull pauldrons if I can figure them out. :P
