Wow, that first tutorial is awesome!
![]() I get a lot of acne too because my skin is very sensitive, so here's my two cents: if you're willing to drop the money on it or can find it on sale, Erase Paste by Benefit works really well. It's worth the money IMO because the little pot will last you a very long time! If you dab it onto your blemishes, blend the edges into your skin and then put on your foundation as usual it looks great! For a visual reference,I had about 5-6 big, red stubborn blemishes around my mouth and nose when this photo was taken. So from experience, Benefit makes great skin products if you can treat yourself to them. As for cleaning pores and preventing acne, I like washing my face with St. Ives products. You can also get an amazing home-made facial scrub by mixing plain oatmeal with green tea and a splash of olive oil.

jukebox brought up another very important thing, cleaning your skin! To help clean out your clogged pores and prevent more acne, you should get into a routine of cleaning your face regularly.
Every other night I use a Clean&Clear exfoliate, followed by Neutrogina cleanser, and a Clinique mosturizer. I use mosturizer daily however, to help my face stay 'fresh'. You'll be surprised at how soft your sift will feel after using this technique for a few weeks, and from exfoliating I have noticeably less blackheads ouo. To help cover up, I recommend using a heavy foundation and concealer. I recommend investing in these two things, because they last awhile and are worth it in the long run. Formulas in foundations and concealers vary, so it's best to experiment a little bit to see which works best for you. They make foundations for all skin types (oily, dry, normal, mix). Try some out, I know some high-end foundations have samples. For drugstore I really recommend Revlon foundations. Don't forget, that for maximum coverage and staying power you should top off all your creme face products with powder! Good luck! |

If you can afford it, MAC is amazing, I have covered up acne, scars, and even beard stubble without any kind of concealer and it's not even noticeable! I personally like the simplicity of their Studio Fix line (foundation+powder in one), but you might be better off with a separate foundation and powder.

Try using the makeup forever hd foundation. The youtuber Diamondsandheels used it and she has very bad acne. Im talking about cystic acne. Makeup forever products a
Is a bit pricey but its really good, also smashbox products. I own smashbox products and its really great. But before using makeup, i REALLY recommend you to atleast wash your face and exfoliate 3 times a week. I really love the apricot facial scrub because it leaves my face a clean feeling and i feel like it can breathe again lol. |
