Wig Bump

I just purchased the "Chibi" style wig from Arda-Wigs.com. Beautiful wig, awesome quality, awesome price.

But when I put the wig on, there's this akward part in the back of my head near the top where it dents in, like I have a flat spot in my head. My hair is already filling in a gap at the bottom. what do I do? Stuff it with something? Am I doing something wrong?

I'm using the pincurling technique all around my head because I have longer hair. I'm using a wig cap and everything as well.

Halp?

Maybe you should try washing the wig or wetting it and blow dry it in a position that will eliminate the bump. Edit-Oh nvm lol I thought u meant the wig shape was odd in itself yeah do what the video posted by the person below me shows.

use the arda wig tutorial, this is a common problem! i recommend however that you have someone help you so that you dont end up with lopsided ponytails!

You can also just pad the top area you give it shape back as well. But yes you really need someone else to help you pull it back up to your fit on your head.

I know about bag hair and how to fix it. :P I need to fix this before I fix bag hair though, so everything lays properly.

I'm talking about the back of the head, but up where someone would usually have their hair swirlie or cowlick? My head is flatter there. So...should I stuff it? Or try to shove my hair up there and hope it doesn't mess up the bottom?

I would probably try to stuff it. I bought a Jeannie for my Ty Lee cosplay and there was a lump in the back where my head didn't quite fill it. So I took some quilt batting and just added a little patch and it didn't look bad anymore!

Thanks for the ideas guys. after I undid the ponytails and redid them to the shape of my head, the bump is nothing a little hair can't fix.
