Hello, everyone! Figured it was probably about time I introduced myself.

I'm a newbie cosplayer from the Houston, Texas area, and I'm just stepping foot into the world of learning how to make my own things. I have literally zero sewing experience, but everyone has to start someplace, right?

My first project is Anti-Spiral Nia. I'm dyeing the shoes and painting/sewing the markings and fabric on myself. Figured it was a good first step into things.

I'm a huge video game fanatic, and I'm actually in school right now finishing up a Computer Science/Software Engineering degree. It's awesome, I love it.

I hope to be a somewhat regular member of the community here. I've always found this website on my searches for tips on how to make certain costume pieces and accessories, so I figure being an official member is definitely a good start.

Hey Myribee, welcome to coscom. You've chosen a brave first cosplay, but you seem to have a good plan of attack. The wig seems like it might be a project and a half on its own, but if that's the wig you're wearing in your avatar, it looks like you've already conquered that mountain. If you have any snags with the costume, people here are always more than happy to help out.

It's pretty cool that you're finishing up that degree. I'm actually planning on going into computer science this year, or maybe a game design degree from the university next city over... But that's just my indecision acting up again. We've all been there.
