Fatal frame cosplay help

I am wanting to cosplay Mio Amakura and my friend wants to cosplay Mayu but we need help on how to find things here is some reference pics

2/3 of that can be bought off the rack in any clothes store of your choice, then modified by adding lace/ ribbon/ etc.

Are you under the impression that sewing it from scratch will be cheaper? or just really determined to be accurate?

If the first is your reasoning: sorry but it's wrong. Sewing from scratch is very rarely cheaper because you will be paying full retail for all your materials, not to mention the tool and other equipment investment.

If the second is your reasoning: how much sewing experience do you have? If it is so little that you don't know the names of the major pattern companies (all of which have websites) getting spot-on accuracy is probably beyond your current skill set.

I come here to help teach people how to sew, because sewing and creating cool things is something I love to do. I have no tolerance for those who are too lazy to use google for themselves and post hoping someone else will do it for them. Not saying you fall into that category, but that is why I don't do a lot of searching on behalf of others.
