Photo Critique: Daenerys Cosplay

The other day I got asked to help someone out with their Daenerys Cosplay from Game of Thrones... Honestly I've never seen the series but I plan on especailly after working on these photos. Would like an honest opinion from you guys especailly those of you who know the series. Location (Sunset Cliffs) was picked by the Cosplayer (Shea Standefer)

My only regret for the shoot was that it was a very last minute shoot and I had to get to class...

Very nice and interesting split toning on some. The top photo seemed the most powerful to me.
Mostly very nice throughout. Last was only troubling to me because the cropping / composition choice has her looking off frame with too much dead space behind her for my taste.

Not that I don't occasionally break the rules from time to time as well. It's just an opinion.
Maybe you wanted that tension of not knowing what she is looking at? I just felt that there wasn't enough going on in the scene to keep my attention there either.

All in all , very good - jealous of your location , model, etc... : )

I absolutely love the third image. Bravo!

The others I have a hard time with composition. For example the fourth image. It looks like the object she's holding is out of focus (just a tiny bit!) So it sets off the whole mood. Would have been nice to have her gorgeous eyes in there.

But other than that, I love the lighting! Good job

That photo was intentionally cut off nose down. She actually requested that type of photo highlighting the items of her cosplay. Though yeah i think i could have adjusted my apature a bit for this shot to bring out the egg more.

Love them! The cosplayer looks more like Cersei though!
