My friend and I are cosplaying as Fuko and Kotomi (from Clannad) this summer for Mechacon. I can make the skirts, we can buy the turtlenecks, we have the socks, but the BLAZER! I am confident in my ability to sew a blazer, and I'm fairly sure that I can draft a pattern for it, but I'd really like to know if there were any tips on the matter, or a basic pattern I could alter. I know I can make the basic SHAPE of the jacket, but I've never lined on before.

I'd like to have a pocket on the outer left breast pocket, as seen in the picture below, and two fake pockets on the bottom front. I don't know if these are supposed to be real or not, but they look to be sewn shut. Can anyone recommend a good tutorial for making fake pockets?

Edit: Can anyone recommend a simple lining tutorial? I've never lined a jacket before!
