how much resin?

How much resin do you think I'll need to cover up this sword, front and back? The sword will stand about five feet and seven inches. Home Depot sells one quart, and one gallon and the gallon is about 35$. The quart is 15$. What do you all think? |

Go for the gallon, a quart would be to small.
