So there is a local con pre-view happening this weekend. and I plan to do my Whitebeard cosplay. But I am torn because over the past couple of months I have grown a rather nice beard. It keeps me warm when I am working outside during these frigid Canadian winter months.
But Whitebeard (despite his name) doesn't have a beard. Should I go all out and shave my heat retainer for this one day event. and be as accurate as I can? Or do I sacrifice accuracy and keep the beard for the remainder of month and a bit of real coldness to come? I am so Torn! So please fellow cosplayers. What do you think I should do?

Depends on how fast your beard grows. xD I say, go with accurate, but it really is your choice...

A tough call. I always go for accuracy, but it depends on how important that is to you. Or, you could just whiten your beard and play the ironic angle.

Well, if I were you, I really wouldn't want to make an important 'real life' sacrifice for a one day costume, but, to me at least, accuracy is rather important.
I think I just wouldn't cosplay that character that day then.

I sadly have no other characters to cosplay. Im thinking of trying to do Rider from Fate Stay.. zero.. the alexander one. cause my beard matches his. for next year. but to short of notice for this year.
I'm thinking I'll take it off. even they guys I work with say I should. and I am working inside mostly.
