Arrancar Boots~
I was thinking of buying skin tight boots and painting the white lines on.
I'm going to be both Orihime & Halibel so I won't need two different sets of boots. Instead of having to buy them from someone, would buying the black boots and white acrylic paint be a good idea or no? I'm not experienced with boots or shoes really. Ref: ![]()

If you buy suede boots you should have no problem. With leather or synthetic, the paint tends to scuff off pretty easily. If you just walk carefully, this is usually ok too.
To get clean straight lines, stuff the boots with balled up newspaper, then either watch some youtube videos about automotive pinstriping and use those techniques, or lay down masking tape on either side of the line before painting. Peel the tape up when the paint is slightly but not completely dry. |

Here is another solution that will increase accuracy for not much more than the above: Get some Tabi (I recommend ZEMGear) and some long tabi socks then paint the line using fabric paint.
The Arrancar don't actually wear boots. A couple do but a lot of them wear tabi with the iconic pinstriping. If its flat, its Tabi. If it has heels, its a boot. |

I'll have to look at some more pictures or watch the episodes again to see which is Tabi and which are boots.

Alrighty. I came up with an idea after I went shoe shopping.
I can't seem to find skin tight boots so what if I get the knee high converse, wrap them in fabric and then paint the fabric? That way I can just take the fabric off after I'm done and the shoes will be unharmed, depends on how I get the fabric to stay on.
