Regards to Chest Binders
Hello
I've been browsing some reviews for Underwork Binders but mainly, they are from people who are looking to flatten their chest for either transgender reasons or self-esteem reasons. Not saying those are all the reasons out there, just ones that I've found. But I want to hear from fellow cosplayers, mainly those who crossplay. First, let me start out that I'm a 38~C and a bit over weight. This year, I've taken it quiet seriously to start losing weight for not only health, but to look better while cosplaying (win-win for me in my own opinion). But I do like crossplaying as guys from time to time. I tried once to wear bandage to flatten my chest. Not only did it not really work, but it hurt and it's not good for the body anyway. So I want to know from fellow crossplayers who bind own their chest in order to obtain that male chest look. What type of binder do you wear? Does it work to get your chest flat? And where are you obtaining your binders? I only know of Underworks and Loveboat. Currently I'm looking at the Underworks Binder 997 but I want others opinions before I order a $40 binder. Thanks, Leana

I don't see why you can't use those binders just because they're also used for something else.
They do the same thing - Flatten breasts, and that's why people buy them (no matter what reason). |

I use the double front compression shirt underworks binders for my crossplays. They really work well for doing crossplays. Binding breast is something I feel is needed for FtM crossplayers, unless you have small enough breast that you can just wear a sports bra to look flat. I have 36D's, I'd look like a weird ass guy if I didn't bind my breast for cosplay.
O.o not quite sure why it bothers you that FtM trans people use them or anything though. Does it matter why something is created if it works for your purposes?

Trans-men have a bit more freedom about wearing clothes to hide their binders. As for me, I'm using a waist cincher right now. It works relatively well, as I'm just an A cup. For some more showy outfits, I'll probably have to resort to sports tape though.

Ive tried to use thick elastic before and it dosnt really work out, it sliped down and came loose in places and it just looked really bad, im sure with moe practice I could have made it look good, but id rather shell out some money to get a professional binder
also I have issues with binding my chest because I have asthma and it bothers my breathing, so I need things to not be too tight

There's an entire crossplay section on this site for questions about binders and such...

Underworks is the company most crossplayers swear by. I'm a D and I have the underwork's tritop binder, it's a bit of a hassle to get on but, the results are worth it as it makes me completely flat.
