Hey there, I just finished watching SAO and have really been wanting to cosplay a character from the show. I've been thinking of Lizbeth, but I don't know how to go about making her dress. I'm a beginner sewer (never taken classes, but I have a more advanced friend who can offer help) and was wondering if anyone had some kind of pattern for my skill level?
heres a http://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120809085602/swordartonline/images/thumb/6/67/Lisbeth_ACD_1.png/640px-Lisbeth_ACD_1.png to her outfit. Easier cosplay suggestions are also welcome ![]() |

Simplicity and New Look probably have similar patterns. You may need a separate pattern for the long sleeves, though.

So I am doing the same cosplay, I am drafting my own pattern which will probably be way out of your skill set, so I can't really help you there. BUT, I would definitely check on some Gothic Lolita patterns as well, the general dress shape, and the sleeves are pretty in line with gothic lolita dresses. The hardest part is going to be the front part where it changes from red to white as it is kind of a unique shape.
