Orihime Pins!
I'm going to be Orihime from Bleach, what I came up with is that the hair pins won't stay in. I mean, they will, but they're not strong enough to stay in themselves unless I put a bobbypin underneath them to keep the wig in place for them.
I don't want to have a black bobbypin underneath the hair pin in orange hair. I was thinking silver bobbypins under it so it looks like the bobbypin is the hair pin itself. Any other ideas? This is how it is with the black pins. ![]() And this was just a quick shoot for a wig test. ![]()

Get some blond colored (or black if you want blond is just lighter) and paint them with acrylic paint to match your wig and maybe some sealer or glaze to make them a little shiny like the wig.
I think this is what you were asking...

That actually isn't a bad idea! I would get some silver ones and paint them. Never thought of it that way.
