I would say, if it’s too price for your con budget, and then split up the cost with friends who will also be attending the con. I have done this at all the cons I have stay at and I can say it is very great not having to pay that much on a room. What is cool is if your friends cosplay too, then if you forget to buy or left one of your make-up pieces then you can borrow your friends. Or perhaps you need a safety pin because your something went wrong on your cosplay; you can ask your friend for some. For me, personally, I don't mind staying at the Westin and I do have a few cosplays that I do have to wear heels and a big skirt. I actually like some of the rides on the shuttle, especially in the morning.
