I have a question for those of you familiar with Katsu's maid cafe...

I have a group that would love a photo shoot in the cafe. Not of the maids... Not of other guests.. Just our table. (To replicate a scene from the series our group is from, and when I saw pictures of the maid cafe in past years it looks perfect.)

Rules seem to focus on no videos and no pictures of maids without paying... Considering we aren't looking to do either of those (and if a maid ended up in the background of a shot by accident we would clear the photo with the maid still AND make the $1 donation) we were wondering if this would be okay? I already planned on asking when I made my reservation, but wasn't sure if someone already knew?

TLDR: Can you take personal photos of you or your friends in the maid cafe?

I'm one of the assistants for the Katuscon's Maid Café. I just talked to one of the heads and the rules across the board will be,

For every time you click the shutter, take a photo, etc., it will be a $1 donation. If it is a photo of a Maid Café staff, your food, your friends, the decorations, etc. and is taken within the Katsucon Maid Café, it will be a $1 donation.

If you would like to take 5 photos within the café for your photo shoot, it will be a $5 donation. If you take 50 photos within the café, it will be a $50 donation. Just remember that 100% of it will be going to Relay for Life so you're taking photos for a good cause. :3

Yes, you can still walk-in for the Maid Café. It will be first come, first serve. I'll just put all the information below for everyone.

Please note we can only accept cash donations.
Meals, food, & drinks can be paid for by credit card, debit card, or cash.

All party members must be present at time of seating.
We cannot seat guests with their party after party has been seated.
We cannot seat more than 5 guests per table.
Groups larger than 5 will be split into separate parties and treated as so.
