I just got this wig in the mail today, and am really excited to start messing with it.

I need the bangs to go in an upsidedown V pattern for this cosplay.
Character reference!

Help! How can I cut this so it looks shaggy, but keeps the V pattern? Please note, I am horrible with hair, and usually get someone else to cut my own.

If it's heat resistant you might want to straighten the ends and thin them out with shears. If it's not heat resistant be gentle but you can use a hair dryer to mold the hair where you want it to go if you are careful. Invest in some hair wax (specifically) since it is like instant anime hair for spiking the ends like his! I love Yosuke :3 and luckily you don't need much styling cause that is a really pretty wig!
Make sure you try them on and clip on either side how long you want the bangs to be and such. Do that while you are wearing the wig so that it'll be the right length. then put it on a wig head and style it like I said above! Straighten first (however works and doesn't destroy the fibers), then trim and thin out the ends then wax the spiked edges out.
