I'll be moving to Tampa soon and I honestly know NO ONE who cosplays in that area. I do want to go to Metrocon this year and meet a lot of new people. But it would be nice to get to know some people before I throw myself into the con. The cons I've already attended are

I'm planning for Jigglypuff, Mordecai from Regular Show, and Lady Luck Alice from the Disney Princesses meet FFX-2 dresspheres.

Oh I'm sure you'll fit in just fine! There are plenty of cosplayers in the area, some might not live in Tampa but I do know there are at least a good handful. I myself am going to Metrocon as Veran from LoZ Oracle of Ages, and Friday is still being debated. It's either going to be rewearing my fixed Vanessa from Luminous Arc, or a new Amaterasu that I'm about to start, it just depends on time restraints. Metrocon has a ton of cosplayers and it keeps getting bigger every year. I've gone three years now, this will be my fourth, I know friends of mine have gone pretty much since they opened. I believe we had almost 9000 attendees last year.
