Unfortunately, my optometrist doesn't sell coloured contacts, or at least not as bright as I would like. Does anyone know of any SAFE (!!!!) places to get prescription contacts, or at least contacts that I can wear glasses over and take off the glasses for photos?

And, I'm looking for (preferably cheap) suggestions on makeup to make Shion's red markings. Something that doesn't smudge or wash off easily. I was doing test shots with red lipstick, but obviously that won't last for long. I would need to be putting it over foundation and concealer as well. Not used to face makeup, so could somebody more experienced help me out here?

Though I haven't used them yet, a lot of users on here swear by Pinkyparadise for contacts. I'd check them first, they do have nice bright red ones. The Vassen Dolly Plus Red ones were the ones I was thinking of using for my Shion cosplay. They're prescription, too. ^w^
I'm actually (unsucessfully) trying to figure out a way to do Shion's markings so they look more like a scar or damaged skin, than, y'know, face paint, but for face paint, I hear Kryolan Aquacolor or Ben Nye Magicolor work well, you just have to remember to seal it when you're done. Cosplaysupplies carries them. I don't know if it would be cheaper anywhere else, but I have ordered from them before and everything went fine.

I was thinking Ben Nye too, or maybe a cheaper option of eyeshadow and then setting it? Thanks for the contact rec!
