Unhappy Pale help?

[size="2"]I'm planning on cosplaying as Shiro from Deadman Wonderland soon and I am utterly lost on her makeup. I was going to go with just straight white with Ben Nye stuff, but now I'm rethinking it. Sigh...
Any help, advice, or suggestions? See how her face seems less white then her hair? How could I achieve that with out looking caked up in 20 layers of powder?

I'd mix a bit of white face paint with your foundation. If you're darker skinned, you won't look as pale as her without looking odd. If you haven't gotten your wig, you can go with a silver toned wig as opposed to a stark white.
What's this for? It's a wig.
What's it for? To disguise yourself from yourself.

oil based body paint
i'm pretty sure you can get really pale flesh toned makeup as opposed to pure white, it looks much better. the character is just really fair skinned, not actually white
ben nye does carry a few ultralight shades
i would go for geisha, porcelaine or pure ivory. i have the monster wheel and pale vampire and they all go on pretty much the same color as the palette without looking caked on, just make sure you set it with powder afterwards so it doesn't fade
