Ear Rings For Link

I am the process of making a costume on Link and I am curious on what would be the best kind of Ear Rings for Link. Would clip-on or pierced ear rings work best? Also does anyone know of place that makes reputable ear rings for or similar to Link's?

I would try a dollar store that sells cheap metal or plastic earrings preferably shiny dark blue if they aren't blue paint them with spray paint (that's what I would do but I'm not a pro) as for clip-on or not do what is more comfortable or best for you and go for it

One idea I've had for link's earrings is a blue split ring. With enough of a gap to fit snugly on the ear without discomfort and not too loose to fall off. I haven't tested it yet, though.

I think I might go for a clip on because my ear lobes are pretty small and I might hurt something with a piercing.

if you don't already have pierced ear, you should definitely use clip ons. mostly because when you get your ears pierced you have to wearing the same earrings for 6 weeks or the holes will close. and you probably don't feel like waiting 6 weeks

I am certainly doing clip-ons then because I will wear them only for the cosplay.

I just did a Link cosplay last year, and if you're planning on using elf ear prosthetics, what I used and worked perfectly was blue chainmaille jump rings that I picked up at a craft store. I got a bag of around 200 for a couple dollars. They're very easily bended and since you get so many you don't have to re-use them. Plus they look exactly like what Link wears.

Also, if you are interested in good elf ears I got mine from Aradinocostumes.com

I like the chain mail ear rings and I got my elf ears from them too! I might use the surplus rings for a Twilight Princess Link.

I found some fakes on eBay for under $5 that look acceptable to me since I don't want another hole in my ears and I don't think they'd look right in the ones that are there.

I don't have the actual link since I'm on my phone right now, but if you search "fake" or "clip on" "blue hoop earrings" on eBay, they should come up. Or just "fake blue hoop". They're on the smaller side, but depends on the look you're going for. I will probably use them instead of my real ear holes since his are weirdly placed, anyway.

I am looking for one closest to his Ocarina of Time version.

Here's one auction : http://www.ebay.com/itm/230835513407...84.m1438.l2649

And another : http://www.ebay.com/itm/230835513407...84.m1438.l2649

It changes a little bit depending on the actual image, but the majority of the time it's where a person's "second" or even "third" ear piercing would be, not where a traditional one is placed. Something that hasn't really changed from game-to-game. I notice things too much. >.>
