Alright I'll be honest my cosplay doesn't really relate to anything similar to the japanese culture, animes or what so ever but DON'T HATE ME FOR IT! D: I COME IN PEACE!

I'm looking foward on building a Dead Space 2 Advanced Suit cosplay though I have quite a short time line.
I've been looking for an appropriate material for a long time to developp the disguise though I couldn't find any better than WonderFlex. And now that I've had a few tips, I've made up my mind and decided that a few sheets of EVA foam applied to wonderflex would be the perfect deal for the cosplay.

Only thing is, I'm looking for a specific thickness: 5mm.
It's the exact thickness I need for most of the components of the armor and yet I have -ABSOLUTELY- no idea where to gather some nor where to find it!

So I've been hoping that some of you could possibly track me some 5mm thick EVA foam sheets manufacturers asap.

Uh.... While this community happened to be started by members of the anime fandom, it is about costuming - and there are lots of members here that only do non-anime costumes. And some of us anime fans do non-anime costumes too.

Anyway, you might want to be asking about this in the Props/Accessories/Armor subforum instead of the Sewing/Fabric subforum. Different people lurk in different places here, depending on their individual specialties and experiences, and the people who camp the armor forums will have resources they can link you to. I reported this thread for you to get a mod to move this into the right area.

Doing a simple google search for 5mm thick craft foam turned up this result. http://www.alibaba.com/showroom/foam...5mm-thick.html

Should be able to order what you need and depending on what shipping you pay for, you could get it relatively quick.

To build my iron man costume, I bought foam from http://www.foamtiles.com/
It's pretty reliable, and they have a good range of thickness! In my opinion, foam tiles is more or less the same thing as EVA foam

That seems pretty reasonable, although it appears to work by communicating with the actual seller which could include variant delays, risk I can't allow myself to take with the timelimit I'm imposed to. 'ppreciate the help though :/
