How to Tackle This Two-Toned Wig?
So I'm going to be cosplaying Ruby from RWBY next year and it's never too early to start planning right? XD One of the roadblocks I'm stumbled upon is her hair(black with red tips). Usually I wouldn't have a problem but I have read it is difficult to dye a wig black(Which throws away my original idea of getting a red wig and sharpie dye it black). So now I'm pretty much stumped now on how to tackle the wig. Any help will be appreciated.

You could contact Lucaille and ask the proprietor to list this item on their English website:
http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=18619751400 You'd have to cut the wig, then use thinning shears to create layers for a softer gradient effect. EDIT: The ref image you linked seems to have a hint of red at the crown. Also, the item I linked is more of a dark-brown-ish natural black as opposed to jet-black. Sorry.

You can use this method, but with a red marker rather than white. Might take quite a few layers if it is going onto black.
