Silicone spray question -- styling afterward?

Okay, so I have a long wig that was previously curly -- I straightened it to get rid of the frizz.

I plan to put the curls back in, but before I do anything I want to ask: if I spray it with silicone now, will it affect how the wig reacts to being styled? The wig is pin-straight right now and I need it to hold a curl (or a wave, at least).

Not at all the only thing i could effect is trying to dye it afterwards. I've straighten and curl my pre-treated wig all the time and it take styling the same way.
