X-Blade Vanitas - Kingdom Hearts

Hello everyone,

I am planning on cosplaying Vanitas from Kingdom Hearts. I don't have problem with little armor that goes around his chin. But there is one, X-Blade. I'm trying to think something to make X-Blade. Is there any way to make one?

It's basically two kingdom keys fused together with a foam base blade in the centre.

Should always attache a photo/image of the prop though.

i make lots of keyblades from wood, although you may or may not want to make it from that because of the weight. With any material, start out with either sketching the design, blowing up a photo and tracing, or plotting points using ratio math from a small photo to the large scale. then cut out the design with a skilsaw or jigsaw or scroll saw. whatever you can find to cut out. then shape the design. i use a dremel and it works great. you could also try adding paperclay on top of a flat design. finally sand, prime, and paint.
