Do you know the kinds of material that was used or, better yet, have a picture of the actual pieces? This would help others figure out things you might be able to do.

so here's the gold pieces i was talking about, from left to right it's legs, wrists, arms and then choker http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e8...ps7de0f56a.jpg
i was thinking of just sticking more velcro on so i can do them up tighter but most of the pieces would have to overlap so much that it'd look weird

i'm also adding a picture of these http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e8...ps10bb4540.jpg they're for my ankles. i've seen most people just stick them directly on their shoes. should i just do that?

If it is pleather, it shouldn't fray. In which case you could just add the velcro where you want it and them trim the excess. It's hard for me to tell and there's stitching all the way around so that doesn't help me decide. Is it just one strip of fabric or is it the base gold and a lining of some kind on the back? If it's just one layer it probably is pleather. Maybe if you could test in an inconspicuous spot like the end of the part that gets covered when worn.

If it is something that frays since you don't have a sewing machine you may want to get some fray check or something. I don't know what else is similar to hat but I'm pretty sure there's other options I've seen in the past.

Hopefully that's somewhat helpful. Someone else might be able to come up with something else to fix this problem.

Ya since its fabric and there already Velcro, id just stick w Velcro too. Tho make sure that you measure the over lap w it on you. And for the ankle pieces I'd either attach them to the shoes or use toupe tape to help hold them to the skin

i don't think they'll fray, cause the pieces that go on my legs have no stitching around the edges, only where the velcro is
would the velcro still be solid enough if i glue it on? since i don't have a sewing machine

If the fabric doesn't really have finished edges then it won't fray.

As long as it's a higher grade glue than like school glue yes. I've glued Velcro down before, I think it was fabri-tac I used. But something that dries but still allows movement is probably the only thing i'd advise since this is going around parts of your body.

I second tape for the legs. If you just wrap them they're gonna constantly fall and if they're wrapped too tight they could cut off your circulation or possibly cut into your skin.
