Finally here! :)
Hi everyone!
Happy to say after lurking for a few months I can finally sign up. Yay!! New to 'proper' cosplay but have been dressing up in whatever I could find since I was a kid. I love video games, anime, comic books and anything remotely 'geeky'. Now I have the time and spare money to try my hand at Cosplay. My first proper cosplay was this year for my birthday, we had a comic con themed party and I went as Sailor Moon. However I didn't make my costume since I have zero sewing experience. Now I am working on making the accessories for a Twilight Princess version of Zelda, one day I hope to learn to sew well enough to be able to make my own costumes. For now I am having the basic dress part made by a tailor, but plan to add/modify some parts of the costume. A little bit about me: I am Australian but currently living in the Middle East as expatriate working for a large hospitality company. I finally have the disposable income to try cosplay and have decided to heck with what anyone else thinks! Planning to enter a contest at the 2013 MEFCC in Dubai in April. So, hi! *waves*

I also have zero sewing experience and have to pay for my costumes u_u its such an expensive hobby lol I live in NY ^o^ and love video games/anime
