Halo 4 marine

I may be able to acquire the helmet and armor from a Halo 4 marine (the one on the right in this picture), but I will still need to figure out the rest of the costume. Which is where I will need some help/advice.

There are several variants of marine armor in Halo 4, but the one I am focusing on is the one pictured. So I have to ask, does anyone know where I can get a MOLLE vest/plate carrier that resembles this one? Another problem is the color. In game, it appears to be white, but in certain cinematics it appears tan or khaki. Khaki would obviously be easier, but I want it to be the color that will make it recognizable. If I were to go with white, how can I recolor a modular vest like that? Would bleach or paint suffice?

Second, do yall have any ideas on the BDU? It appears to be OD green but with the inside of the legs and arms colored reddish. I'm afraid this might require some work, and I don't have any experience with modifying/coloring fabric. Would be using a purely OD BDU be too far a stretch?

Third are the modular gauntlets. I don't know of anything like this that exists in the real world, so I imagine I would have to fashion my own by cutting apart a MOLLE vest into the correct shape.

For the belt, I would use this, with these for the pouches, these for the gloves and this for the leg drop pouch.

So what are yall's opinions/suggestions?
