Dying and Fabric Paint

I'm making Rosa/Mei's bag (Pokemon B/W v2) Pic, I dyed it pink and then painted the bottom white with fabric paint, I'll also have to paint the top part as well. Now, the instructions say to wash after the paint drys but I am afraid there might some dye in the cloth and it will give the white a pink tint in the washer. So the question is; Is there another way to clean the paint half of the bag without damaging the rest?

Shout Color Catcher might be useful. It should absorb any unset dye in the wash.

Without knowing what type of fabric paint you used, I don't see why you need to wash it. Especially because it's on a bag instead of an item of clothing, I really don't think you need to bother.
