Russia cosplay, Help!!

So, I'm planning on cosplaying as 2p!Russia. If you know the character Russia, then you'll know that he carries around a faucet pipe.. thing. Well, I'm needing to know how I'd go about constructing it. It can't be metal, since conventions don't seem like they would appreciate that too much, so preferably made of pvc or something? How expensive would it be? Where would I get it? etc.

Well, I made mine out of taking a bunch of empty paper towel rolls and mending them together with LOTS of super glue. I used some sticks for support, putting them on the inside, and then using a lot of silver paint. Maybe you could do something along the lines of that?

PVC is extremely easy. Get the PVC and the upper piece for a faucet then use cement glue and spray silver

I'm no expert with PVC, but the 1 project I made with PVC was utterly cheap & easy! Just go to your local Home Depot-type store and spend some time in the PVC isle. What I did was literally played puzzle-time and pieced together my prop on the floor of that isle -- lots of strange looks, but anyways.
Then just use spray paint (NOTE: I found it works better to do multiple light layers from afar, versus concentrated close sprays that resulted in dripping).
As for cost, I can't recall the total but for a long rifle-type prop using several pipe sizes, widths, & strange connector pieces, it was far less than $10.

Best of luck with your Russia!!
