Medieval GoT/LOTR Cosplay Help

I literally just joined this site to ask for cosplay help.

I need a shoulder-guard for one shoulder, kind of like https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/152020881/leather-shoulder-armour?utm_source=google&utm_medium=product_listin g_promoted_en_gb&utm_campaign=geekery_mid I'm willing to pay around £20 maximum, also, does anyone know if making one could be cheaper?

Depends on if you need the material to actually be leather or not. You could probably make it yourself out of craft foam/eva foam/foamies (whatever it's called in the UK) and brad fasteners, which would not really cost that much. You can buy old belts from a thrift store.
