Then you've come to the right place!
I've got a room on the con block and it's at the JW Marriot!
It's RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER FROM CON
Free snacks are provided.
The room is booked Day 1 (July 4th) - Day 4 (July 7th)
WE DO HAVE A ROOM AT THE RITZ MILNER HOTEL FOR DAY 0. If all goes well, we should be able to transport your stuff to the other hotel without problems. C:
This is a 2 bedded room.
The rates are:
150$ per person
270$ per couple
(Yes that's 2 people, full weekend discount off single rates because it sucks to get charged for singles vs couples!)
And of course, a key and snacks are included! C:
ONLY 2 spots are left. And that's either 1 single or 1 couple.
The rules are pretty simple:
Use common sense, don't touch people or their things without permission or consent.
Don't lose your key! We're not paying extra to replace them.
Do not use room service, it's not your room.
No drama, ever. You will be kicked out. There will be no refunds.
You will have to pay a partial or full deposit. I don't like flakes as much as the next guy. I've had people flake on me at con before and that's not happening again. (We can discuss this if need be)
No partying in the room. I don't want to have to explain to my friends why you brought 30 of your friends and puked on my friends cosplay. You will be asked to leave.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. I am not liable for you if you are under 18. (Sorry but I've been doing this for 5 years now, and you absolutely must have someone who can watch you staying with you. It's a liability and the law.)
If you are asked to leave, please do not protest, throw a fit, or destroy the room.
This doesn't happen often but I've had to do it in the past. I'm actually a really chill person and I don't like kicking people out.
Respect. Respect the room, respect your roommates. Respect the hotel. Respect the staff.
No drugs. (Except prescription)
No smoking in the room. That is California law. No you cannot open the window and blow it out. That will get you into some serious legal trouble.
NO CREEPS. Had that happen at a con. We're all laid back people and we don't want anyone to be uncomfortable.
I hope that's not too much to ask, I'm just trying to cover all the general "expect the worst, hope for the best" rules. I don't want to be too strict, but I do want a very chill environment in my off-con downtime.
We're all going to Anime Expo for various reasons of geekery, and most of us cosplay. (I do too!) So all I ask is for respect, cleanliness and no drama. <3
If there are any questions please send me a message, I'm more than wiling to help!
See you guys at con!
