Ghostbusters!

I've been wracking my brains for something to do for my next costume...and today it came to me!
A Ghostbuster!
Probably Ray, that way I also get to make cool NVG-like goggles.

Any advice or suggestions would be great!
I'm gonna start searching for decent pics/info now...

Out of ALL the costumes I have and worn to events, my Ghostbuster costume is the one I have the most fun in and get the most feedback on! Love to wear that costume! I'm currently on my 3rd version of the Proton Pack and about 99% screen accurate!

Here's some pix of our past events of the last couple years:

Here a few pix of my current Pack:

If you need any help with locating parts, feel free to ask!

These pictures are about as old as the internet, but they may help.

I recommend Paranorman's two part set. It seems to be the most comprehensive one.

One thing to remember with the Proton Pack: You should go buy an surplus army "alice" pack frame to attach it to; you can find them at virtually any surplus store worth going to, and at many online stores too. Buying a genuine one is cheaper then attempting to fake it, and MUCH cheaper then cannibalizing a commercially built backpack for it's frame.

Um... how?

I mean, Ghostbusters was one of the defining movies of the mid 80's.

Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, and Harold Ramis, with Ray Parker Jr. singing the theme song, which was a top 40 for most of that year.
